AI cold call training & practice

Practice cold calls on prospects who want to hang up.

Click Call. It rings. An AI prospect picks up in character — busy, irritated, full of objections — and only books the meeting if you earn it. Then you get scored and coached on every line.

Cold call practice, start to finish

Describe the prospect. Click Call. Try not to get hung up on.

  1. 01

    Describe who you call

Role, company, situation. Vague? The AI asks a few follow-ups, then builds a prospect with a name, a mood and hidden objections.

  2. 02

    Click Call

It rings in your browser — no phone, no download. Prefer your phone? You can dial in instead.

  3. 03

    Earn the meeting

They’re busy, skeptical and looking for a reason to hang up. Handle it well and they book. Handle it badly and you hear a dial tone.

  4. 04

    Get scored

Tone, sentiment, objection handling and talk ratio — with timestamped moments, rewritten lines and your next drill.

Inside a practice call

Every line moves the prospect. Watch it happen.

Your AI prospect has a mood, a time limit and objections they won’t tell you about. Trust rises when you listen and drops when you pitch. Scroll the call.

  1. Dana (AI prospect) 0:02

    Yeah, this is Dana.

  2. You 0:04

Hi Dana, it’s Sam at Northline — I know I’m calling out of the blue. Can I take 30 seconds to tell you why, and you tell me if it’s worth a conversation?

    Permission-based opener
  3. Dana (AI prospect) 0:13

You’ve got twenty. I’m walking into a meeting.

    Time pressure
  4. You 0:17

Fair. We work with distributors whose techs lose hours chasing parts between branches. Is that something you’re seeing, or not really?

    Problem first, open question
  5. Dana (AI prospect) 0:29

We already have a system for that. And honestly, I get ten of these calls a week.

    Objection: status quo
  6. You 0:35

Makes sense — most people I talk to do. If you could change one thing about how it works today, what would it be?

    Curiosity, not a counter-pitch
  7. Dana (AI prospect) 0:44

…Honestly? Nobody trusts the counts between branches.

    Hidden pain surfaced
  8. You 0:50

That’s exactly what I’d want to dig into. Worth fifteen minutes Thursday to see if we can fix the counts problem?

    Specific, small ask
  9. Dana (AI prospect) 0:58

Fine. Thursday, 2:30. Send the invite — and keep it to fifteen.

  • 0:04

You asked permission and handed her control. That bought you the next 20 seconds.

  • 0:17

You named the problem before confirming it.

Try: “How are parts getting between branches today?”

  • 0:35

Strong recovery on “we already have a system.” Next time, size it before you ask.

Try: “Roughly how many hours a week does that cost your techs?”

Next drill: five status-quo objections at Skeptic level.

Questions

Still deciding? It takes ten seconds to hear it ring.

Hear it ring
Is it a real phone call?

It’s a real voice conversation. By default the call happens right in your browser — click Call, hear it ring, and talk. If you’d rather use your phone, you can dial in.

Who answers?

An AI prospect built from the person you describe: a name, a title, a mood, time pressure and a few hidden objections. They only agree to a meeting if you earn it.

Is it available now?

Not yet. Join the waitlist and you’ll be among the first to get practice calls.

How does AI cold call practice work?

You describe who you sell to — role, company, situation. CallDrills builds a prospect from that, with a name, a mood, time pressure and hidden objections. You click Call, it rings, they pick up, and you try to earn the meeting. When the call ends you get a scorecard and specific coaching.

How is it different from role-playing with a manager?

You can practice on your own schedule without pulling a manager or teammate in to play the prospect, and the prospect doesn’t go easy on you. Every call is scored the same way, so you can see whether you’re actually improving.

What gets scored?

Your opener, tone, the prospect’s sentiment across the call, talk ratio, discovery, objection handling and the ask — with specific moments, rewritten lines and a next drill.

Can my sales team use it?

Yes — manager dashboards let you see every rep’s calls, scores and progress in one place, and reports are printable.

What does it cost?

Pricing is coming soon. A trial is planned at roughly $10–20 for about an hour of practice calls.

Can you make the cold calls for us?

Yes. If you’d rather hire cold callers than train them, we offer done-for-you outbound. Tell us who you want to reach and we’ll get back to you.

The next cold call is going to be hard anyway. Practice the hard one first.
